The Big First Update! Addressing Some Questions And An Important Backer Survey

Hello everyone!

We would like to open up this update by giving everyone a big thanks for their interest in our project. We are incredibly excited to see this much interest in our small project and we'd also like to take a moment to say that we are in fact reading through every comment. 

We are always looking to improve ourselves and our products so we appreciate all the feedback as we take all critiques and requests very seriously.

Without much more fluff, we'd like to address some major questions:

STL File Availability

We originally launched this campaign to help fund the manufacturing of the Miniatures, but within a few days we have received an outstanding amount of interest in the STL file.

Because of this, we want to know what you all would consider a "fair price" for the STL file for this miniature should we choose to make it available as a tier/reward/add-on. 

Patreon 

We received an interesting suggestion to move to Patreon instead of Kickstarter for this line of miniatures. To this end, we would like to know how much support there is for this series since the design and development of these is fairly time/money heavy. We are also interested in what you, the community, would feel comfortable pledging for per-month to help us make this line a reality. 

(If things go well, we would keep developing more and more in this line and not just limited to the ones we have concepts of right now)

Survey

In order to keep things more organized and answer a few more questions we've created a survey. It's contents include questions in regards to the topics we mentioned above as well as a few other things. 

Feel free to also answer/comment on this update as well, we will be reading it all, but having the organization of the survey system would definitely help keep things smooth.

Results of the Backer Survey And New Updates To The Campaign!

Hey everyone,

We've already hit 34% of our funding goal within the first 3 days! Given the feedback on requested additions and tiers that we are just now addressing, that's impressive. Thank you all so much for your support!

The Backer Survey has been live for a full day now and several of you have already given us your feedback. We have several changes and announcements to make in regards to your survey answers:

STL File Tiers

The community seems heavily in favor of wanting a tier that offers the STL file. While we are still offering the printed Red Dragon mini with her concept card, we are now offering 2 new tiers that include the file: 

• For Your Own Printer $30
• Get It Early For Your Own Printer $25 (Early Discount available until January 11th, 2021)

We have also extended the early discount tier for the printed Red Dragon Mini until January 11th, 2021. This way all backers have some extra time to jump onto a cheaper price.

Patreon Page

The community seems just as excited about supporting the continuation of the Anime Themed Miniature line through a Patreon page, so we created one! The goal is to gather support to design and push out a large catalog of miniatures through the Patreon page, with the ability to buy the printed minis and access to the STL files. We will also reveal new concepts and designs, detail our process, poll patrons for feedback on minis they would like to see, and more!  Support us on Patreon here!

Twitter Page

We love this little project, and we want to share it with the world. We've created a Twitter Page to start sharing the miniature line and the work we do with fans, artists, and everyone in between. Please follow and share our content on our new Twitter page!

Miniature Size

Survey feedback on the preferred size of the miniature and moving the printer stretch goal are split straight down the middle, so we are keeping the survey open to collect more feedback. Please take the survey if you haven't yet so we can hear your input. We will provide another update once we have enough feedback to make a definitive decision.
